River City Sound Chorus

Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance.

We are an award-winning women's barbershop chorus based in Rockford, IL. As a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, the purpose of our organization is to train women in the art of four-part a capella harmony in barbershop style. We also provide entertainment for community and private events.

We welcome new members and any woman 18 or older who enjoys singing is invited to attend our weekly rehearsals. Youth memberships are also available for young women ages 13-17 who have a chaperone available for overnight events.

River City Sound is a diverse group of determined and dedicated women who are connected by a kindred love of singing... we are "Sisters In Song". Our passion for vocal excellence is surpassed only by the desire to entertain our audiences with vibrant, innovative and trendsetting performances.
